Cafe bikes never go out of style, especially those built off of a Honda platform. Although CBs are all the rage, ChrisUniqueCycles in New Jersey has strayed from the beaten path and built this awesome cafe off of a direct-drive CX500C, traditionally the ugly step-sister to the CB bikes. Over six months went into this resto mod including a bare-frame respray, low-mileage engine, and numerous mechanical refreshes. Check it out.

Fabricated around 1981 CX 500 C , model motorcycle this bike was stripped to the bare frame ( see youtube slide show ) and cover with epoxy primer. Repainted with Du Pont System Chroma Base and clear coated twice to achieve mirror like effect. Most its original components was removed, modify or relocated to fit new requirement’s . Engine is spotless inside and shoving no wear as it has only 3800 original miles! . Every think on this motorcycle was assembled with new or cleaned and polished hardware. New oils, spark plugs, brake pads, tires, filters etc. installed.


Well if you would like to be the fastest person on the road or prefer coach like comfortably ride then it is probably not for you… But if your goal is to get most unique two-wheeler around for fun and cloud of people around your bike when you stop for cup of cafe..then you are on the right page now!
